To know your face good, do this super easy test: When you get When you get up in the morning and being sure that your skin's makeup free, wash your face with a mild cleanser, then pat it dry and then do nothing else for an hour. Combination Skin: Have you heard about the T-Zone? (this means the forehead, nose, and chin). If is shining and shows some oil on the tissue but your cheeks are just normal. You have the most common skin type. |
Dry Skin: If you feel your skin is tight or flaky and feels uncomfortable, depositing no oil on the tissue. Dry skin usually results when your skin doesn't produce enought oils to retain the natural moisture. |
Cleasing your face is hopefully the most important step in your skin care routine. You would need to remove all traces of makeup (very important), excess oil, dirt, and all the dead cells. THE GARLIC AND PAPAYA DIET
Take two garlic tablets and two papaya tablets before breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ask your pharmacist for the strongest strength available over-the-counter. Eat lightly for two days, staying away from salt, bread, and carbonated beverages. Stay near a bathroom because this will draw fluids (safely) from your body.
THE CLEANSING DIET
Go on a diet of vegetables for two days. Start with tomato juice and grapefruit juice for breakfast, and eat an array of greens for lunch and dinner.
THE WATERMELON DIET
For two days, eat several slices of watermelon with lots of water for breakfast and lunch. Eat a light, but nourishing dinner. It is better not to try this one for more than two or three days.
THE CABBAGE DIET
This diet has been passed around forever. It's been called the Model's diet, the Stewardess Diet, even the Dolly Parton diet. Diet Soup Recipe
2 to 3 cubes of bouillon 1 package onion soup mix 3 onions 1 to 2 heads of cabbage 2 to 3 pounds of tomatoes 1 carrot 1 pepper Seasoning to taste
Blanche tomatoes in boiling water for one minute. Plunge into cold water, remove skins, and set aside. Dissolve soup mix and bouillon in 3 quarts of water. Chop, then add cabbage, onion, carrot, pepper, and spices. Add tomatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 to 40 minutes. Make enough soup for two days.
Eat all the diet soup you want for seven days along with the following: 1st day: fruits only 2nd day: vegetables only 3rd day: fruits and vegetables 4th day: bananas and nonfat milk 5th day: six ounces lean poultry or fish and plain rice 6th day: same as 5th day 7th day: vegetables and rice
